Recently I was invited to join a group of motorcycle bloggers from around the world. Until now I had not have the chance to visit each biker’s blog.
Today, I’m start with a visit to Helmet Hair.

“Wearing a motorcycle helmet tends to mess up one’s hair. Removing the helmet usually leaves hair sticking out in all directions. This is called helmet hair … “
Reading that most bikers will chuckle and identify readily with shared experience.
Having being in Copenhagen for a while, my impression is motobikers there are a passionate lot. Big bikes dominates, no one is interested in anything below 500cc.
Why? There, not many people buy a motorcycle for transportation reason alone. For that they could buy a bicycle, take public transport or buy a car. But buying a motorcycle means something else. Very unlike countries where motorcycle is a means of transport. ( I should expand on this topic in future.)
Jesper, do you do test ride for living? Look at the number of test ride he did. In my 8 years I had only ridden a fraction of that.
Before we go, here’s an interesting maintenance tip from Jesper.
So, ride over to Helmet Hair.

Thanks for the plug, Ken.
I guess you are right about the Copenhagen motorbikers. It’s a hobby/passion for must of us, not really our primary way of transportation.
No I don’t test ride for a living. I think I’ve have tried twice the amount of bikes I have written about. Just haven’t gotten around to writing about them yet (due to laziness).
I seek to try all the bikes I can, no matter what type or size it is. Usually when a new model comes from the factory the dealers get a demo bike to let their customers take for a spin. After a while the demo bike is sold and then you can’t try the model if you consider buying it. (unless it’s a used one for sale)
So I try all the bikes I can when I have the chance. Then write a bit about them, so that I can remember what I thought of it, should I consider buying one some day.
I believe the dealers make a lot of customers that way. It was how I fell in love with my CB900F, and bought it a week or two later.
I should try that next time. Probably only applys to highend bikes though.
