Malaguti Moto is an Italian scooter company. The company is under the ownership and control of the Malaguti family.
The company was founded in Bologna, Italy in 1930 by Antonino Malaguti to build bicycle.
With the onslaught of cheap scooters from Asian companies such as Kymco and Daelim as well as Chinese manufacturers, can Malaguti hold on?

Bimota is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1973 by Bianchi, Morri and Tamburini: the first two letters of each forming the name BI-MO-TA.
In the company’s early years, Bimota take existing engines and building excellent motorcycles around them. They first customised top-models of Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki and later also Yamaha and Ducati.
Today they make very expensive and exclusives bikes. The Bimota Tesi 2D was nominated and came in third for Object of lust – a motorcycle we most want but can’t afford in the Motorcycle Bloggers International (MBI) – 2006 Motorcycling Star Awards.

Buell Motorcycle Company is an American company founded by Erik Buell, an ex-Harley-Davidson engineer. The company is now wholly owned by Harley-Davidson.
Two of the notable innovations of Buell Motorcycle are the use of the hollow frame as a fuel tank and the hollow rear swingarm to hold the engine oil.
The Buell XB12X Ulysses was nominated and came in third for Best new every day motorcycle in the Motorcycle Blogger s International (MBI) – 2006 Motorcycling Star Awards.

Benelli motorcycles was established in Pesaro, Italy, in 1911.
Here is another company that got acquired. This time by motor Group Qianjiang which is a corporation located in southeast China at Wenling, 480 km from Shanghai.
I should find out more of this Qianjiang group. It is amazing how many big China company stayed unheard of, especially one that brought an Italian motorcycle brand.

Royal Enfield was originally a motorycycle brand of the English Enfield Cycle Company. The company dissolved in 1970 but the name was acquire former licencee based in India and continues to be used today.
Did you know that? Not me. The name sounded so English and I alway associated it with the Enfield rifle with the original company did produce. Little did I know it is an India company.
